ACANTHUS GARDEN

 

We are thrilled to be able to offer our new 45mm curtain pole range “Acanthus Garden”. It consists of 4 stunning finials with a selection of complimentary holdbacks and tassel hooks. The range is based around the Enlish Cottage Garden but with design elements  from the 18th and 19th Century.

The four choices of finial are:

DOVES fighting for position on a branch. The inspiration came from an 18th century french mirror discovered whilst antique hunting at a flea market in Worcestershire. 

The Pomegranate is a sign of good luck wealth and posterity and is given as a the first gift to anyone moving into a new home. 

The Artichoke, a stunningly beautiful plant, has been reproduced as a finial with very little alteration from the original plant. 

The Bee Natures hero. The finial not only sets the bee pride of place on an acorn but also the design is heavily influenced by the French Empire period (1804 to 1814) and an emblem of Napoleon.
